Every Kraft Kenya piece is shaped entirely by hand. Our artisans are self-taught, guided by curiosity, experimentation, and skill honed over time. Each fold is deliberate, creating rhythm, strength, and beauty in every lampshade.

Origami as a Design Language

Origami lies at the heart of our work. Our lampshades are crafted from special origami paper that is both heatproof and waterproof, allowing beauty and durability to coexist. The sculptural folds soften light while adding depth and character to interior spaces.

Sustainability Meets Innovation

We combine tradition with modern tools. Our lamp bases are made using upcycled wood alongside 3D-printed components. Introducing 3D printing has enabled us to speed up prototyping, refine designs efficiently, and reduce material waste — all while preserving the handmade essence of our work.
